A 65-year-old man identified as S.Xh., has been arrested by the Tirana police after being charged with four criminal offenses.
He is charged with “Smuggling of goods subject to excise duty or with full or partial suspension of customs or excise duties”, “Concealment of income”, “Non-payment of taxes and duties” and “Violation of the rights of industrial property ”.
The Police Services, during the control in a subject owned by this citizen, have found and seized as material evidence, about 400 bottles of wine, which are suspected to have been smuggled into our country.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
