The National Inspectorate of Territorial Defense (IKMT) demolished the three-storey hotel in Radhima, Vlora this Tuesday.
So far there is no reaction from the owners of the building, the building, who were given a 10-day deadline to vacate the building.
Meanwhile, the Italian citizen who had rented the hotel says that it has remained in the middle of the streets.
“I do not understand for what reasons, I am stuck in the streets, I do not know, I do not know, I do not know what to do. TI had at least one roof over my head that I had nowhere to go. I have also paid taxes for the whole of 2022“, She said.
IKMT started a week ago the demolition of illegal buildings on the coast of Vlora, while it stopped in the area of Radhima.
Together with numerous police forces, IKMT intervened in the three-storey hotel in Radhima, where according to them it was not classified by the legalization process.
According to the information, the owners of the hotel are still in the process of legalization and in court with IKMT and have the documents of the land where the hotel was built.
Meanwhile, the hotel has been rented to an Italian citizen since December. They stated that they will follow this issue to the end, considering the intervention of IKMT unfair.
Owners and relatives vehemently opposed the demolition a week ago, while one of them picked up the child and climbed onto the terrace, threatening to jump if the building was demolished.
