Elisa Zgena is an albino girl born in May 1992. She has white skin, white eyebrows, but is more special than us not only because of her skin but also her positivity.
Often times she is prejudiced, bullied for her outward appearance.
In the show “Albania Live” she told her story, showing that at school she was seen as an alien. This accompanied him to college, when he chose not to go to school anymore because they saw him differently.
Elisa: The question that came to me most often from people was why are you so white. Then I asked my mom and she explained to me. While growing up, this issue was explained in biology that it was not a disease. I could hardly wait for everyone to hear that I was not alien.
I used to be a very closed type, very antisocial. At university, after the first day I told my mom I no longer go there. It was a cuna only class. I was directing. A lot of things happened that day, I almost sat alone at all, but I kept going and said I do nothing anymore.
The most shocking case he experienced is when the teacher pushed him down the stairs but escaped the crash because he was held tight.
Elisa: I was in fourth grade, about 10 years old, we were going out for vacation and I was the last out of line. Zysha came out and closed the door, I thought she closed it in a hurry. He closed the door and did not go on vacation, I thought he forgot. I was sitting by the window, waiting for them to pick me up, the vacation was over and I had not eaten or drank yet. I have to wait another 3 hours until the next break. I spent those three hours trying to get out quickly so she would not forget me inside and when I got out, she pushed me down the stairs, but thankfully I did not fall because I was held back.
