With the last decision of the Board, oil is reduced by 8 lek, gasoline by 7 lek and gas is increased by 6 lek. The Transparency Board has decided to reduce fuel prices by the end of the month when the next meeting will be held.
“Retail price of gasoil by-product of standard SSH EN 590 to be 237 ALL / liter, while wholesale price 225 ALL / liter.
The retail price of the gasoline by-product of the SSH EN standard should be 211 Lekë / liter, while the wholesale price should be 199 Lekë / liter.
The retail price of the gas by-product should be 116 lek / liter at retail and the wholesale price 104 lek / liter for vehicles ”, stated in the notice.
The prices set by the Board will be valid for the period March 29 – March 31, 2022, after which the board will reconvene to indicate the reflection of sales prices.
Instead, oil reached 260 lek per liter in early March, after rising to $ 130 on international stock exchanges. Following this increase, the Government established the Transparency Board, set up to temporarily limit the wholesale / retail prices of oil and gas by-products.
