Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has praised his counterpart Boris Johnson and the United Kingdom for their response to the war in Ukraine.
In an interview with The Economist, he said that Britain was on the side of Ukraine and had not shown any neutrality while maintaining balance with Russia.
“To be honest, Johnson is a leader who is helping a lot. Country leaders react according to the way their constituents act. “In this case, Johnson is an example,” said the Ukrainian president.
Zelensky and Johnson have been in regular telephone contact during the occupation.
