This is a gesture to be appreciated by PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas and his wife, Andrea Salas.
The two, in fact, decided to welcome 30 Ukrainian refugees to their home. With so much space available, they both decided to use it for a good cause.
After learning that a non-profit organization from Barcelona had traveled to Krakow to distribute food and welcome refugees, the couple decided to make their contribution. The families were received directly by the Costa Rican goalkeeper’s wife, as documented by his Instagram profile, where he sends aid messages to the war-torn Ukrainian population.
It is not the first time Navas and his partner make such gestures. At the beginning of the pandemic, they launched the “Basket of Hope” campaign, providing food for about 3700 families severely affected by the coronavirus. After the initiative two years ago, Navas and his wife also showed solidarity with those affected by the war in Ukraine to set a good example.
