A scientist has created a computer algorithm that can lead to transformative discoveries in physics and reinforces theories that the reality we know may be simulation.
The algorithm was created by physicist Hong Qin, a plasma physicist at Princeton University, and uses an artificial intelligence process called “comprehension machinery” to improve her knowledge through experience.
In an email to the ‘Big Think’ network, Qin wrote: “The laptop algorithm of the universe should have been something simple defined in the network of space-time layer.”
“The complexity of the universe can result from the vast amount of computer memory, but the algorithm itself is something simple.”
The algorithm can make significant predictions about natural events but not that we have the ability to simulate existence.
The words of encouragement for the discovery of Qin are interesting in relation to some physicists known before him who have expressed the idea that the universe we know is in fact a hologram and that the human brain is a hologram reader, as the observations of Karl H. Pribram, David say Bohm and later Corrado Malanga.
“Qin research uses the ‘secret field theory’ approach as an algorithmic field with adjustable parameters according to observation data.”
He adds that “after tarim, discrete field theory turns into an algorithm that allows computers to predict new observations.”
According to Qin’s theory, its discrete field considers the time-space layer to be continuous. One such approach was started by Isaac Newton, who used three styles of time-space observation, such as the law of motion, gravity, and calculation.
Like other scholars Qin believes there are problems in current research with the laws of modern physics, but he says these can be overcome.
Qin says that his work conforms to the logic of Bostrom’s simulation theory, which means that “the hidden field theory is fundamental to the current laws of physics in continuous space.”
