In a meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Kostis Hatzidakis, the Greek Minister said:
“The Albanian community in Greece is fully integrated into the economic, social and cultural life of Greece. We want the Greek government to continue to facilitate procedures for seasonal workers. In the spirit and example of similar agreements between Albania and other EU countries, it is necessary to conclude an Agreement with Greece in the field of social security – for their mutual recognition of the pension effect of employees in Greece and Albania. We already have the understanding that the process should continue between experts from the relevant ministries. “
In the Meeting with the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis it was said that: “It is time to deepen economic cooperation even more and it should be one of the main priorities in our relations. Both countries can do more in some areas such as the cooperation of chambers of commerce in the field of investment, energy and especially tourism. The European Union has many projects for the Western Balkans region and both countries must be vigilant to use these projects in the field of energy, interconnection, etc. “
In the meeting with the chairman of the parliamentary group of New Democracy, Ioannis Bougas, MP Balla asked that “In the spirit and example of similar agreements between Albania and other EU countries, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with Greece in the field of social security – for their mutual recognition of the pension effect of employees in Greece and Albania. . ”
Balla also met with opposition leaders Tsipras, Papandreou and parliamentary group leaders.
