A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 on the Richter scale has hit Japan.
The epicenter was on the east coast of Honshu, 83 km southeast of Ishinomak.
It is not yet known if there is damage. According to the EMSC, the depth of the earthquake was 80 km.
