The icon of Ukrainian athletics, Sergei Bubka, at the same time president of the Olympic committee of his country, thanking the president of the Albanian Athletics Federation Gjergj Ruli has asked for housing and the possibility of training for two athletes together with their coaches.
Sergei Bubka: I will be very grateful if you can help me organize training conditions in your country for the two Ukrainian athletes and their coaches. Alina Shukh with her coach Maya Shukh and Valeriya Mukhobrod with her coach Anastasia Olkhovnikova who are now in a very difficult situation. They do not have the opportunity to lead a normal life here in Ukraine, including training and it would be great if you could help them.
The president of the athletics federation Gjergj Ruli has expressed his readiness to create all the conditions for the Ukrainian athletes.
Meanwhile, the president of the Olympic Committee Fidel Ylli has communicated with Sergei Bubka, expressing his solidarity for the situation and the readiness for any further need.
