The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Any citizen over 12 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or concentrated vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third boosting dose, according to the recommendation of the family doctor.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 577 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 26 citizens, in the following municipalities:
8 in Tirana, 6 in Fier, 5 in Gjirokastra, 1 in Kukës, Mirditë, Kavaja, Vlora, Selenica, Delvinë, Skrapar.
There are 793 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently in COVID hospitals 45 patients are receiving treatment, of which 4 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive.
52 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 268,411 since the beginning of the epidemic.
