Russian forces have bombed a mosque in the town of Mariupol, home to more than 80 adults and children, including Turkish nationals, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said.
The ministry said the Sultan Sylejmani Mosque in Mariupol had been bombed by Russian “invaders”.
Ukraine has accused Russia of not allowing citizens to leave Mariupol, leaving hundreds of thousands stranded.
Russia blames Ukraine for failing to evacuate.
There is still no information on whether anyone inside the mosque was killed or injured.
Moscow, on the other hand, consistently denies reports of civilian targeting.
