The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. Anti-COVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1041 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 73 citizens, in the following municipalities:
22 in Tirana, 9 in Saranda, 5 in Delvina, from 4 citizens in Vlora, Divjakë, Durrës, 3 in Fier, from 2 citizens in Shkodër, Krujë, Patos, Gjirokastër, from 1 citizen in Librazhd, Gramsh, Poliçan, Kuçovë, Korça, Dropull, Selenica, Mallakastër, Lushnje, Shijak, Mirditë, Lezhë, Tropojë, Kukës.
There are 974 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently 39 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 4 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours there is a loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from Shkodra 77 years old.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the family.
217 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 268,093 since the beginning of the epidemic.
