Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet on Friday in Moscow with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the Belarusian state agency “Belta”, Lukashenko and Putin will discuss current issues of bilateral relations, the development of cooperation between the State Union of Russia and Belarus, economic cooperation under the pressure of sanctions, as well as the situation in the region and Ukraine.
Belarus is an ally of Russia and has sided with Putin in the war against Ukraine, not imposing sanctions like any other country.
