The Albanian Road Authority has announced that the traffic on all national axes is free as it has worked with the cleaning and distribution of salt in problem areas.
Through a post on the official Facebook page, ARA has announced that during the night and in the early hours of the morning there was snowfall in the southeast of the country, accompanied by low temperatures down to -7 ° C. The same atmospheric conditions have been present in the axes of Dajti, in the North in the mountainous areas and in Llogara.
ARA appeals to drivers to be careful on the move, especially at night and in the early morning hours.
They must also respect road signs to reduce speed, be equipped with winter chains and tires, and follow the instructions of the Traffic Police.
