Ministry of Health: 1605 tests, 87 infected citizens, no loss of life and 212 cured in the last 24 hours
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Any citizen over 12 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or concentrated vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third boosting dose, according to the recommendation of the family doctor.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1605 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 87 citizens, in the following municipalities:
22 in Tirana, 12 in Saranda, 7 in Fier, from 4 citizens in Lushnje, Selenica, Gjirokastra, Berat, 3 in Elbasan, from 2 citizens in Prrenjas, Kuçova, Memaliaj, Vlora, Kamza, Durres, from 1 citizen in Shkodra, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe, Puka, Kukës, Tropojë, Lezhë, Mirditë, Kurbin, Kavaja, Dibër, Mallakastër, Delvinë, Devoll, Librazhd.
There are 1182 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently 44 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 6 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive:
212 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 267,672 since the beginning of the epidemic.
