She was received at a meeting meeting by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.
The two ministers hailed the holding of the Fourth Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, in Riyadh, on 21-23 March 2022, as a good opportunity to fully assess our bilateral relations and to identify concrete opportunities to move them forward. .
In this context, both interlocutors considered important the further completion of the legal framework and the intensification of exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries.
The counterparts shared the opinion that the good cooperation that exists between the two parties, within international organizations, should continue in the future, in the interest of both countries.
This cooperation receives special interest when Albania, as a non-permanent member of the Security Council, pays special attention to developments in the Middle East Region. In this context, Minister Xhacka acquainted her counterpart with the priorities of Albania within the UN Security Council.
“Albania in the UN Security Council will work closely with Saudi Arabia for peace and security in the Middle East,” said Minister Xhaçka during the meeting.
After Saudi Arabia, MFA Xhaçka will travel to the United Arab Emirates.
