Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has indicated that nearly 20,000 foreign nationals have applied to go to Ukraine to fight.
At an online conference Sunday, Kuleba said the volunteers come from 52 different countries around the world. But he said he would not mention the countries from which applications came to take part in the war between Ukraine and Russia.
As refugees are leaving Ukraine, yesterday, the Ukrainian government launched a website for applications to participate in the war with Russia.
Earlier today the head of the UK Armed Forces told the BBC that the British would help Ukraine from their country and would not go there to fight.
