The process of distributing election materials in Lushnja is proceeding at a slow pace.
The materials are being distributed late in the 157 polling stations of Lushnja municipality, after the tensions between the Democrats themselves.
A commissioner representing the Freedom House coalition says the delay was caused by Democratic Party commissioners.
“Democratic Party commissioners arrived late, which also delayed the distribution of election materials. The PD commissioners had problems with the lists, they could not find the candidates“, He said for Top Channel.
Lushnja is one of the six municipalities where it will be voted on March 6 to elect a new mayor. The candidates for mayor are Eriselda Sefa from the Socialist Party, Indrit Sefa from the Democratic Party and Elton Bano from the “House of Freedom” coalition.
