The working group at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is working under the threat of weapons.
The news was announced by the leading company.
Petro Kotin, head of the state-owned nuclear power generator Energoatom, said Russian forces “entered the territory of the nuclear power plant, took control of personnel and managed the power plant.”
He said workers are currently working under the threat of gunfire.
Kotin said that the workers’ staff “were hired this morning to perform their duties”, but according to him the company has no “direct links with the station” and is receiving information from various sources there.
Regarding the condition of the reactors, Kotin has shown that six of them have fuel, while the pre-reactor sites are storing the spent fuel, the irradiated by-product of the reactors.
According to him, if nuclear facilities are hit by bombings, this “will lead to nuclear catastrophe.”
