The Ministry of Interior has announced that all measures have been taken for the citizens, who have applied to be provided with the new valid biometric card, to be produced with an accelerated deadline.
This decision was taken by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the concessionaire for the production of biometric documents “Aleat”.
Whereas, for the applications in the 6 local units where the elections will be held, the ID cards will be ready by Saturday, and can be withdrawn at the offices of “Aleat”.
So, ID card applicants in 6 municipalities, namely Durrës, Shkodër, Lushnjë, Vora, Dibër and Rrogozhinë, can withdraw them on Saturday, as the offices will be open.
This comes in the context of the by-elections on March 6, to ensure that all citizens who have already applied have a valid identification tool with which to exercise their right to vote.
