Greece will lift the obligation for all citizens entering the country from ports, airports or land borders, to complete the PFL passenger localization form, from March 15th.
The decision, announced by Greek Tourism Minister Vasilis Kikilias, facilitates visitors from all over the country to enter Greece and was taken unanimously on the proposal of the Committee of Experts of the Ministry of Health, simplifying the entry process for travelers and putting emphasis on control of vaccination certificates.
New health protocols have also been adopted for tourism companies, making them competitors in this period when the pandemic is not yet possible, but the war in Ukraine has also brought new obstacles and great concern to the sector, as only years in Greece entered over one million Russians and Ukrainians.
The commission also proposed increasing the capacity of tourist buses from 85% to 100%, from Saturday (March 4, 2022), with existing protective measures such as natural ventilation or even the use of a mask.
The new health protocols come just a day after the decision that from Saturday, the Greeks will remove the masks at the Outdoor premises.
Although declining, indicators of a pandemic in Greece continue to be worrying. In the last 24 hours, we had 15,783 new infections, 393 intubated and 63 deaths.
