Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has released a new video as Russian Minister Sergei Lavrov holds a press conference in Moscow.
He claims that Ukraine’s defense lines are resisting, but says that the bombing of cities by Russia has not stopped since midnight.
He says the change in Russia’s tactics – in targeting civilian areas – shows that Ukraine has been successful in resisting Moscow’s plan for a quick victory through ground attack.
“We have nothing to lose but our freedom,” Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine was receiving daily arms supplies from its international allies.
His comments come after launched an investigation into possible war crimes with Russia accused of bombing civilians.
