Five drivers were arrested last week in Vlora and three others were put under investigation, after they were caught driving outside the traffic rules.
Police reports that 55 driving licenses have been suspended, 2 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 37 for driving above the speed limit and 16 for various violations of the Road Code.
Also, 1133 administrative measures were imposed during the last week:
– 449 measures for speeding;
– 58 measures for not wearing a seat belt;
– 29 measures for not wearing a protective helmet;
– 28 measures for the use of mobile device;
– 108 measures for wrong overtaking;
– 56 measures for stopping / stopping the vehicle in contradiction with the road signalization and traffic rules;
– 19 measures for lack of vehicle insurance;
– 386 measures for violation of other rules of the Road Code.
