The Israeli army killed one Palestinian and wounded five others during an attack on the Israeli-occupied village of Silat Al-Harithiy, north of the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 17-year-old Muhammad Abu Salah had been killed.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that it had provided assistance to five people with ammunition injuries. Among them, three people were seriously injured.
In the aforementioned village, Israeli forces demolished the home of a prisoner accused of killing a colony.
The AA correspondent from the field reported that prisoner Mahmoud Jaradat’s house was destroyed by explosives.
Prior to the demolition, clashes broke out between Israeli forces and the local population.
Israeli forces entered Silat Al-Harithiya and blocked the entry and exit of vehicles. The youths threw stones at Israeli soldiers who responded with live ammunition, tear gas and sound bombs.
On December 20 last year, Israel informed four Palestinian families in the village that they would demolish their homes because five of their relatives were accused of being involved in the December 16 shooting of settlers near Nablus, in which a settler was killed and two were injured.
