The Albanian midfielder from Northern Macedonia, currently part of Levante in LaLiga, Enis Bardhi, was sentenced to four months in prison and a fine of 1920 euros for driving a vehicle with a forged license. However, the judge suspended the execution of this sentence on the condition that he no longer commit a crime.
Bardhi was intercepted by Local Police agents at 12:30 pm on April 5, 2021 on Hermanos Machado Street, very close to the Ciutat de València stadium.
Agents verified that the midfielder was driving without a driving license, a situation of which the accused was “fully aware”.
In addition, when police asked him to show the patent, he presented a product made in Northern Macedonia under his own name, which was “completely false”.
The prosecutor requested a sentence of 6 months in prison and a fine of 12 months (eight euros per day) for Bardhi, although eventually the sanction was four months in prison and eight months of probation.
