Sitting in the driver’s seat on the bus where she has been working for 21 years, Hamideja said she was happy to have succeeded in a profession considered for men.
She said that her husband recommended her this job and today she is very happy that not only did she take his hand, but there were no incidents and she did not receive a single fine.
“Like today, a week ago, I did 21 years since I started working on the bus. Back then it was rarer to see women as bus drivers. I am naturally that I usually listen to music on the bus, but when passengers sometimes come in and listen to Albanian music, they react and have fun “, said Hamideja.
