The Top Channel team with journalist Muhamed Veliu and cameraman Besfort Kryeziu continues to be in eastern Ukraine in the Donetsk region.
Their next report for the 12:00 news edition was from the Zolote area.
From Zolote three, journalist Muhamed Veliu said that although this area is liberated from Russian occupation, the consequences of the war 8 years ago are extraordinary.
Out of 300 houses of Zolote 3 only 10 are habitable. The houses destroyed by the war are shocking evidence of what the residents who were forced to leave have experienced.
“Meanwhile, about 1 kilometer from Zolote 3 to Zalote 5 continues to be occupied by the Russians. “Another active war front”, reported Muhamed Veliu.
For this news edition also Muhamed Veliu reported that: Unlike other countries where we have reported here is seen an increased presence of Ukrainian military forces. He looks at them on the street and we even saw them on military trucks moving.
Earlier the Top Channel team was in Druzhkivka a town in the Donetsk region where during the former Soviet Union the iron industry and the production of heavy machinery developed greatly.
During June-July 2014 this city was occupied by Russia, but thanks to the resistance of Ukrainian troops was liberated and Russian forces which were repulsed.
