Eight luxury cars with foreign license plates have been blocked during the last 24 hours in Tirana.

Tirana Traffic Police has hit 4 cases of attempted bribery by drivers, in order to avoid the administrative measure for violations found. During the preventive controls, during the last 24 hours, the citizens ES, 19 years old, H. Ll., 60 years old and NK, 39 years old, were caught in flagrante delicto and prosecuted for the criminal offense “Active corruption of persons exercising public functions”, after the citizen ES, was ascertained by the Police services without a seat belt, while H. Ll., and NK, were caught using mobile phones while driving, and for not imposing the administrative measure, these drivers offered them to the employees of the Police.
Also follow the controls dedicated to identifying, apprehending and punishing those drivers who perform wrong overtaking, speed racing and speeding above the allowed norms, and in this context, during the last 48 hours, 105 administrative measures have been imposed for wrong overtaking, in Urban and intra-urban roads connected to the capital, 12 drivers were fined for speed racing, 46 driving licenses were suspended for speeding and 234 measures were imposed for speeding, but without the additional sanction, that of suspension of driving license.
