The court of first instance in Shkodra has left in prison the couple who tried to rob a jeweler in the city of Shkodra.
On January 27, the couple Arben and Anisa Hoxhaj entered the store unarmed and threw paralyzing spray on the owner, trying to neutralize him and then attempting to steal.
The owner resisted by clashing with them and locked the doors. Passers-by informed the police who came at the moment and arrested the young people.
Police notification on January 27: “They tried to rob violently, in a jeweler, thanks to the immediate reaction of the Police, the suspected perpetrators were caught and handcuffed. On 27.01.2022, around 13:00, we were informed in the operating room that two people were trying to steal from a jeweler in the neighborhood “Vasil Shanto” Shkodra. Police services immediately went to the scene, where they made it possible to neutralize and apprehend the suspected perpetrators, citizen AH, 32 years old and his wife, citizen AH, 31 years old, resident of Vlora, who entered the jewelry store and attempted to steal by force, throwing jewelery owners, spray in the face. As material evidence, the cars used by these two citizens and two pairs of false license plates were seized. The investigative group is working to uncover and fully document the event.
