Kosovo Police in the Prizren region managed to confiscate over 10 kilograms of drugs that were hidden in a bunker in the premises of the suspect.

“Kosovo Police, Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking-Unit in Prizren, after an operative-investigative work about a month in collecting information from the field from various sources, on 29.01.2022, in consultation with the Prosecutor has taken action on the ground assisted by a police patrol and a gray Citroën C3 vehicle driven by a male suspect was stopped. During the search of his vehicle, a plastic bag filled with suspected marijuana substance was found. The competent justice authorities were immediately notified and the relevant authorizations were obtained for a search / control in the premises and the house of the suspect in Prizren “, it is stated in the notification.
It is further announced that with the assistance of the operators of the Rapid Reaction Unit (RUU) and the Regional Forensics of Prizren, a search has started at the premises of the suspect in Prizren.
“During the control in the bar under the stairs of the bar was found a well camouflaged (modified) bunker where a small door was noticed that in the prism (of electricity) there was room for a key. The door was opened by the suspect’s key and eight (8) plastic bags with suspected narcotic substance of Marijuana type were found and seized inside.
“Apart from the bar in question, the house of the suspect was also searched, where a small bag with a suspected narcotic substance suspected as marijuana was also found”, it is said in the announcement.
In this raid / control operation the following evidence was found and seized as material evidence:
Nine (9) plastic bags with suspected narcotic substance of marijuana type weighing 10038.08 grams.
A considerable amount of empty plastic bags,
A gray Citroen C3 car with local license plates,
A pair of keys to open the bar,
A key to opening the bunker,
A mobile phone.
It is worth mentioning that the suspect is a recidivist of such criminal offenses and after consulting with the prosecutor, he issued a decision to detain the suspect for 48 hours for further investigative procedures. / Telegraphy /
