“Yesterday we had 4,397 positive cases with the Covid 19 virus, a number that for a single day, resulted in more infected than the number of infected taken together for several months, during the two years we left behind. Just a month ago, exactly on December 26, there were 12 positive cases. So for a month, we had an enormous increase in positive cases, at over 36,000% of the number of infected in one day. As for clarification, exactly on December 26, the first 6 cases were confirmed with the Omicron variant, which is already dominant among us. But, it seems that again this wave found the government by surprise. And so, for a month, out of 349 active cases, today we have 25,458 active cases “, he stressed.
PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi said that while in just one month we have about 20 thousand more cases of infected, it is understood that the government has not hesitated to take measures, but there was no interest in their proper implementation.
