The US Embassy in Kiev has called on Americans in Ukraine to consider leaving the country, given the “unpredictable” situation.
Tensions between Ukraine and Russia have risen as the latter has deployed thousands of troops near the border, encircling Ukraine to the north, east and south.
“The security situation in Ukraine continues to be unpredictable due to the growing threat of Russian military action and could deteriorate at any time.”, said the US Embassy in Kiev.
