A Pakistani journalist has been killed while driving in the eastern city of Lahore, police have said.
The two gunmen on a motorcycle fired at Husnain Shah’s car before fleeing the scene of the attack, police official Safdar Raza Kazmi said, adding that authorities were still investigating to find out who has killed the journalist.
After the killing, angry journalists marched in Lahore, condemning the attack and demanding the arrest of the killers.
The Federal Union of Journalists of Pakistan has declared nationwide protest.
The chief minister in Punjab, Usman Buzdar, has condemned the attack and called for an investigation.
