The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla received today in a meeting in the Presidency of the Assembly the Ambassador of Italy in Tirana, Fabrizio Bucci.
During the meeting, Balla praised the unstinting support of Italy in Albania’s trip to the European Union, while emphasizing the need to further strengthen cooperation in the parliamentary dynasty.
According to Ballës, Italy has been and remains our main partner, the first in economic-trade relations and the country that has never been spared in support of the transformation of Albania from a dictatorship to a functioning democracy.

While appreciating the unstinting support of Italy in Albania’s journey to the European Union, I stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation in the parliamentary dynasty.

During 2021, exports of goods from Albania to Italy increased significantly, reaching the value of ALL 155.7 billion or about 1.2 billion in 2021, expanding by almost 270 million euros
