Well-known comedian Arben Shaka has passed away at the age of 70.
The sad news was announced by the actor’s family through a post on the social network Facebook.
“Goodbye, dear friend Arben Shaka. I grew up as a child with your beautiful and healthy humor there, in the Circus of Tirana. As a neighbor, we spent years together in friendship, seeing in you not only the good spirit of an extraordinary artist, but above all I saw in you, a Man with a big heart, generous and noble.
Bitter is your sudden and silent departure at a relatively still young age. I will always remember Ben joking, full of humor and excitement, speechless and with the innocence of a child, who passed even serious things with a lot of humor and sportsmanship. How I will miss you Friend! Let the light soil be a good artist… .. RIP ”, writes Ilir Çumani in his message on social networks.
The beginning of Arben Shaka’s artistic career dates back to 1966, where he interpreted the role of driver in the pantomime “Driver and Passenger” to continue with a career of almost 30 years. At the age of 17, in 1968, he started his professional career on the stage of the Tirana Variety Theater.
The joke was focused only on the stage of Estrada, but the insistence of the People’s Artist and at the same time the creator of the Albanian circus, Telat Agolli, at that time was the artistic director of the circus, pushed what was included in the circus world.
For the first time he participated in a film in 1969 in “Why does this drum fall”.
