Lulzim Basha this Saturday did not take long to respond to the accusations raised by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in Mirdita regarding his involvement in the Durrës Port project.
Not coincidentally, the leader of the Democrats, Basha, chose to respond from this city, which in the meeting he held with the Democratic supporters, underlined that he and the Democratic Party were against the project of the Port of Durres. He considered a ghost project of Edi Rama, calling on the latter not to continue the project, because according to him the development of an area is not done behind the scenes and on injustices.
“Let Rama hear that we will face all the citizens for this mafia project and we will not allow the oligarchs who come and go between the Bermuda Triangle to continue to feed Rama’s Podium day and night. Our battle aims to return Albania to the Albanians“, He said.
Such a project, the leader of the Democrats considered another test of corruption and showed the reason why this issue is so tangible.
“If you intend to build jobs and get rich, this center does not do the work at night, does not pass the laws at midnight without consultation, does not bring a sheikh here, but goes out in front of the people of Durrës and unveils the plan“, Said Basha.
From Mirdita, the historical leader of the Democratic Party and former chairman of this party, Sali Berisha, made strong accusations against Lulzim Basha, considering the latter, as in previous times, a hostage of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In his speech, Berisha accused the democratic leader Basha of collaborating with Edi Rama and an Arab, as he called him bankrupt in many countries, want to build palaces where today the port area lies.
He said that based on this, Rama is selling his hostage-taking to us as political pluralism, but that according to Berisha, this pluralism is nothing but a ploy.
“There are 800 m2 in the main port of Durrës, in the port that has synthesized more than any other entity the history of this nation where these three, in cooperation with each other, want to build palaces“, Said the former prime minister.
