Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke again about the case of the judge, who prevented the construction of a national center for children at the Lake a week before he went to the vetting, calling it “ordinary”.
In a communication with prosecutors for justice, Rama also responded to those who say that SPAK prosecutors who receive millions, are afraid to do justice, saying: “These millions, fears and accusations do not lead us anywhere.”
“I am determined that if I were not, I would not enter the Justice Reform at all, I would not stay with persistence and stubbornness, I would not go out to lay flowers where the signs of the fallen on January 21 are. The system we have chosen has divided things and in a certain sense we are not only equal but also powerless in the face of our impatience that often times puts us down. Not far from a few days ago, I spoke of a scandalous case where a scandalous judge, an ordinary person ran into a major government project for the child and blocked it on behalf of an individual. The system is still being cleaned. There is no force that can do it in the blink of an eye. Let what they say, this one controls everyone. “The first is untrue, the second does not work that way.” he said.
In the presentation of the initiative of the National Consultation for Albania last year, Prime Minister Rama, denounced the case of Judge Klorinda Çela, accusing the latter of property alienation, as according to him the state property was unjustly transferred to a private entity. He stressed that this judge and all others who make such unfair decisions should be summoned by the SPAK and suspended immediately.
The judge’s decision to transfer a state property to the private sector was taken a week before she was fired from vetting on October 27, 2021.
