The Institute of Statistics of Albania published data on foreign trade, where for the last year there is an increase in exports with Kosovo.
According to INSTAT, during 2021 the countries with which Albania has had the largest increase in exports, compared to a year ago, are Italy (26.1%), Kosovo (43.6%) and Spain (42.0 %).
According to the group of goods, exports to Kosovo increased in food, tobacco, minerals, fuels, electricity, chemical and plastic products, leather and leather goods, wood and paper products, textiles and footwear, construction materials and metals, machinery , accessories and spare parts.
While the countries with which exports have had the largest decline are: Ukraine (14.7%) and Russia (49.3%).
Albania’s trade exchanges, for 2021, with EU countries occupy 60% of all trade.
According to the report published by INSTAT on foreign trade, in the period 2021, exports to EU countries account for 72.2% of total exports and imports from EU countries account for 54.4% of total imports.
Albania’s main trading partners are Italy with 29.9%, Turkey with 7.8%, Greece with 7.3% and Germany with 6.4%.
During this year, the countries with which Albania has had the largest increase in imports, compared to a year ago, are Italy (27.9%) and Turkey (48.6%), writes Kosova Press.
