The Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, tonight confirmed the postponement of the start of the half-year due to the coronavirus situation.
He writes on Facebook that the government’s decision to postpone the lesson is in the interest of health protection.
“The launch of the second semester for primary and secondary education is postponed to February 1. We took this decision in today’s second session of the Government in the interest of health protection, in accordance with the epidemiological information that the country is at the peak of infection. “The decision to extend the second semester on February 1 will not affect the end of the school year, where it will end on June 10,” Kovacevski wrote.
