The Bulgarian Ministry of Health has added a “red list” to other countries.
According to the regulation published on the website of the Ministry of Health, in addition to Turkey, the “red list” includes Austria, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Luxembourg, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar and Lebanon.
As of February 19, entry into Bulgaria has been suspended for those coming from these countries, excluding transit crossings.
Exceptions are Bulgarian citizens, persons with residence permits, EU citizens from Union countries, doctors, persons working on humanitarian issues, members of official delegations, seasonal workers, persons with special permits from the Ministry of Health and students.
Bulgarian citizens and those with a residence permit in the country will have to present a valid vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test no later than 72 hours before the trip, in order not to be subject to quarantine on their return from the “list” countries. red ”.
Children aged 12-18 coming from red list countries will be able to enter the country with a negative PCR test while those who do not take the test will be quarantined for 10 days. Children under the age of 12 will be excluded from the rule.
