Yesterday and today, Sali Berisha, Flamur Noka, Lulzim Basha and Gazment Bardhi appeared before the Prosecutor’s Office to give their testimony about the January 8 protest at the PD headquarters.
Analyst Ilir Yzeiri commented on the show “Top Talk” appealing to the prosecution to investigate any party involved while violence says it is punishable and therefore refers to all acts committed at the headquarters of the DP by persons inside and outside building.
Yzeiri: I look with pleasure that this event that has endlessly disturbed, badly disturbed us all has entered a legal rut. You see, yesterday and today, the protagonists of this scandal give their interviews in front of the prosecutor’s office. This gives us hope to think that at last, and Albania is becoming a normal state and when there are violent political clashes that go beyond reason, that sink the dialogue and when violence against institutions returns to a norm it is good to have the last word give the prosecution. Everything else then is political.
The rhetoric of political actors to conquer because none of them, whether Basha, Berisha or Bardhi has the monopoly of truth. They are politically charged, emotionally charged and interpret their events that have happened according to the positions they hold. Unfortunately, the media is also divided into different camps, we have very few voices.
Dyrnjaja: Better to have different opinions.
Yzeiri: I do not agree because when such violent events occur, political opinions remain what they are, but consolidated societies all unanimously condemn violence.
