Four citizens have been arrested and another has been declared wanted, as they are suspected of being the perpetrators of 12 theft cases in the capital.
In the operation codenamed “Migrants”, the following have been handcuffed:
– BA, 27 years old; LH, 24 years old and AF, 31 years old, for the criminal offense “Theft” committed in collaboration (all three previously convicted of theft);
– KL, 17 years old, resident in Kombinat, for the criminal offenses “Theft” committed in collaboration and “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition.”
These 4 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto, while they were stealing in a pharmacy on “Petraq Leka” street, in Kombinat.
Following the actions, their accomplice, citizen FL, 29 years old, resident in Shkoza, Tirana, previously convicted for the criminal offense “Theft” was declared wanted.
According to the police, these citizens are perpetrators of 11 cases of theft and attempted theft of various homes and businesses, namely:
-On 16.12.2021, in Durrës, in the shop owned by the citizen E. Sh., It is suspected that they stole an indefinite amount of money;
-On 16.12.2021, in Durrës, in the shop owned by the citizen B. Sh., It is suspected that they stole a large amount of money;
-On 18.11.2021, in Tirana, it is suspected that they stole an indefinite amount of money and packs of cigarettes in the market owned by the citizen VU;
-On 21.12.2021, in the street “Tefta Tashko” it is suspected that they stole a lot of money in the pharmacy owned by the citizen VP;
-On 21.12.2021, in the City of Students in Tirana, it is suspected that they stole a lot of money in a shop;
-On 25.12.2021, in “Budi” street, it is suspected that they stole a lot of money and several packs of cigarettes in the market with manager A. Sh .;
-On 25.12.2021, in the city of Belsh, during the night it is suspected that they stole a cutting device for wood materials in an apartment;
-On 26.12.2021, in the city of Belsh, they tried to steal a pharmacy;
-On 26.12.2021, in the city of Belsh, they tried to steal a chancellery;
-On 26.12.2021, in the village of Peza, in Tirana, it is suspected that they stole some work tools in the apartment of the citizen GR;
-On 26.12.2021, in Durrës, in a market in the area of ”Kavaja Rock”, it is suspected that they stole a lot of money;
Investigations show that the citizen AF, 31 years old, is suspected of being the author of the theft of 4 paintings in a store.
Meanwhile, a vehicle, a grenade, various tools suspected of being used to commit thefts, 1 bicycle, 4 paintings, a quantity of money and a cutting tool for timber were seized.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District, for further procedural actions.
