After the government meeting, Prime Minister Edi Rama gave details about the new initiative for the development of national consultation through questionnaires that will be distributed manually or online.
The Prime Minister stressed that this will make it possible to separate parties and quarrels and to give Albanians the opportunity to be part of decision-making. There was also his comment on the opposition, about which he said that the battles for locks, accusations, slander, confusion, have nothing to do with the future of Albania.
“The format will suit everyone, it will be an available format also online. It will be a paper format, for which we will cooperate with institutions and by mail, without having to pay people to give us back their opinion, but it will be prepaid. It will be a format also available in urban centers, at certain points. We do not have here issues related to what we are used to as a standard when voting.
Here the issue is to get an opinion. Here it is important to know all the people of this initiative, then everyone is free to give their opinion. The effort is related to the belief that we need to make an important leap to split the parties and the quarrels between them, to split the trenches and fights between them, to split the daily fumes from the future. All this is done in the name of the future, but only has nothing to do with the future. Power struggles, battle for locks, threats with keys, kicking access to doors, with criminals, accusations, slander, confusion, half-truths, these have nothing to do with the future of Albania.
We will do our best to unify the Albanians with the conviction that we are definitely divided on political issues, we are divided on sympathies, we are divided on votes, but in important decisions we must be together. It is the reaction of others that will decide. We will do it every year. It will be a new institution in our relations as the government of Albania with all citizens, socialists, democrats, without parties, with the eyes, voters, non-voters, happy, disappointed, girls, boys, men, women, pensioners, residents of Albania, emigrants “, declared Rama.
