Divjaka police have arrested a 54-year-old man, who is accused of taking the 56-year-old’s wallet by force, hitting him with hard objects.
“After receiving the denunciation from the citizen Ll. M., 56 years old, resident in Divjaka, that a citizen had forcibly taken his wallet with a quantity of money, hitting him with hard objects until he lost consciousness, immediately the Divjaka Police services organized the work and thanks to quick actions and professionals, have made it possible to identify, apprehend and escort to the premises of the Police, the suspected perpetrator of the event.
Following the actions, the Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Divjaka Police Commissariat arrested for the criminal offenses “Theft with violence” and “Intentionally inflicting minor injuries”, the citizen E. Gj., 54 years old, resident in Divjaka, previously convicted for the criminal offense “Opposition of a public order police officer”, reports the police.
The Police Services seized as material evidence an amount of money that the perpetrator forcibly stole from the 56-year-old.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Lushnja Court of First Instance, for further action.
