Flutura Açka through her very deep and personal reflection in the novel Biri is the winner of the best prose at the national literary awards, for 2020.
Rezarta Reci, journalist: It is an emotional moment for me to be here instead of the writer who won the award for the book Biri, giving all the love to write this book to show the strength of character and to bring the son here in between us today.
The award for the best study book was won by Artan Fuga with the book “Origins”. The best children’s book was announced “Grandpa’s Journey to the City of 1001 Windows” by Persida Asllani.
The best poetic volume was announced “Broken April” by Bardhyl Londos.
For the first time this year, a new honorary award was added called Muza, which went to the poet Petrit Ruka.
Zhani Ruka – Petrit’s wife: Thank you Petrit for all the good works you have left, for all the readers and lovers of Petrit’s work.
This award came after reflection by the Book Center for the accompanying award debates.
