In the last plenary session for this year, the parliament approved the draft law “On the status of children in the care of the Republic” through which the government aims to support all children of those who lose their parents in office.

“The status of ‘Child in the Care of the Republic’ is obtained up to the age of 18, but provides a person with a special material and moral treatment up to the age of 25 if he also attends higher education. Material benefits include monthly financial treatment calculated on the basis of salary higher monthly of the parent or legal guardian who has lost his or her life. At the rate of 100% for every child when in charge of the person who has lost his life there is only one child who enjoys the status of “Child under the care of the Republic”“, Said Rama.
At the rate of 70% for each child when in charge of the person who has lost his life there are only two children. At the rate of 40% for each child when in charge of the person who has lost his life there are four children who enjoy the status of “Children under the care of the Republic”, or 50% when there are 3 children.
