Denmark closed theaters, concert halls, parks and museums.
Ireland decided that after 8pm, the bars and restaurants would be closed. During a speech to the country Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin said the new restrictions were necessary to protect the population from the virus.
In the Netherlands, health authorities are discussing imposing even more restrictive measures, although a decision on a partial block is currently being implemented.
During this week the UK has recorded record numbers of infections. The government has decided to keep the masks indoors. Also every citizen should show the vaccination test, or a negative test performed within a few hours before entering restaurants, nightclubs, or other fun activities.
Britain and other countries are also accelerating the pace of booster vaccinations. Shopping malls, cathedrals and stadiums in Britain have been turned into mass vaccination centers.
