Italy has extended the state of emergency from the pandemic until March 31, 2022.
Authorities in Italy have decreed the extension of the national state of emergency, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, until March 31, 2022.
For persons entering Italy, from an EU country, a negative PCR buffer is mandatory. Those who are not vaccinated become mandatory 5-day quarantine and negative buffer.
Albanian citizens can enter Italy, for certain reasons:
1. Pune
2. Health,
3. Study,
4. Urgency,
5. Persons returning to their place of residence,
6. Close relatives of Albanian citizens provided with a regular residence permit in Italy,
7. Persons who have a proven and stable emotional relationship with citizens who are resident in Italy,
8. Athletes, technicians, competition judges and escorts who participate in Olympic, Paralympic certified sports activities of national interest.
Required documentation required:
1. Passenger Locator Form in digital format or physical copy https://app.euplf.eu/
2. Negative molecular result (PCR) test performed 72 hours before travel or antigenic test performed 24 hours before travel;
3. Citizens are subject to isolation in good faith for 10 days at the address stated in the “Passenger Locator Form”.
These travel rules are in effect from December 16, 2021 until January 31, 2022.
