The scanning of the final voter list, as well as the entry of data from the results forms of candidates and political entities, are almost at the bottom of the Counting and Results Center.
This was said by the CEC spokesman, Valmir Elezi, who added that the CEC voting service is continuing with the process of evaluating about 43 thousand and 500 alleged packages of ballots and their selection, which we have received during the postal voting period.
“This verification process will help us to give an answer on the exact number of ballots from abroad. So far, a part of these packages have been treated and after the evaluation process, more than 16 thousand envelopes with ballots have been approved, while another 6 thousand 800 have been rejected. The reasons for their rejection are various.
Most of them, more than 5 thousand, were rejected because they were sent by persons who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo and because they were sent by persons who were rejected in the application period. Other reasons why they were not approved relate to the fact that they were sent by unidentified voters (group voting); that they have invalid documents attached to the package they sent; “and that they have sent ballots more than twice,” he said.
